Categories
Wiki pages are divided into categories. Contributors are asked to specify categories for content. Do not place articles in the top category only; be as specific as possible. Multiple categories may be assigned to an article. For example: The article Ergonomics shall be listed under Category:Vehicle but not Category:Team. Steering Wheel could be listed under both Category:Vehicle, Category:Ergonomics, and Category:Electronics.
The syntax for listing categories at the end of an article is:
[[Category:Name]]. This syntax may be used to create new categories. Check that the category exists prior to creating a new one. Mediawiki isn't smart enough to pick up on similar categories ("electronic" vs "electronics", for example) and this will create clutter if it is not maintained.
