The SES is a technical submission required of all teams in the FSAE and Formula Student competitions. The templates vary across competitions and years. A summary of each is below with walkthroughs if available.


Formula SAE - SAE International

The SES template may be found at the FSAEonline.com Document Resources page.



FSAE Michigan, FSAE North, FSAE California, and SAE Australasia use this template.



Walkthough - 2019 edition

The SES template has changed form over the years with the most recent refresh in the 2020 season, combining the SES and IAD document submittals. The video below walks through the SES population process as of 2019.




Formula Student - iMechE
