How to organize sensors?

I think there's too much overlap between different uses. For instance a rotary pot could be used for anything from suspension travel to steering angle to pedal position, all of which could be in different categories. Maybe a table or list later on that describes the most common sensors used for each application.

can also list a few common applications for common sensor types. like under rotation sensors, you could list apps, tps, steering angle, and then even link to relevant pages.
