Locking Adhesive

Locking adhesive, frequently known by the genericized brand Loctite is used to stop threaded fasteners from coming undone.

In FSAE, locking adhesive, no matter how applied, is not considered positive locking and cannot be relied on as the only locking mechanism for critical fasteners.
